1. When do distance learning (DL) classes begin?
For Fall 2006, classes begin August 28
2. How much does a DL course cost?
As of Summer 2006, tuition is $455 per credit hour, or $1,365 for a three-credit course.
3. How will this be paid for?
You must submit a 1556 form with your registration form, or arrange for billing to a Government Charge Card.
4. How many classes do I have to complete to get a Graduate Certificate?
At the most, you will need to complete five courses. However, based on your DAU certification, career track, and your choice of certificate, the number of courses required may be fewer than 5.
5. What must accompany the registration?
A copy of the 1556 form or authorization to bill your employer.
6. What must accompany the application?
You will be provided with a signature certification form and a continuing education acknowledgement form that you must sign and return along with a copy of your transcript(s) which indicate a statement of the awarding of your bachelor's degree and a copy of your DAU certification and career track.
7. How many credits will transfer for a Florida Tech Graduate Certificate?
Based on your DAU certification, career track, and your choice of certificate, the number of courses transferred in may be one or two courses which will equate to 3 semester hours for one course or to 6 semester hours for two courses.
8. What if I want to transfer a course from another regionally accredited institution into the certificate program?
You must submit an official transcript of this course.

9. What if I want to apply for a master’s degree while I'm working on the certificate?
Contact the site director where you are taking your courses during the second semester of your work. S/he will work with you to make sure the proper paperwork is filed.
10. What GPA is required to continue 's graduate certificate program?
A GPA of 3.0 is required. See Academic Policies for details.
11. How do I order books for the courses?

15.Does my computer meet the minimum requirements to take an online course?
If you choose to take an online course, your computer must meet certain minimum requirements. A description of these requirements is available at the CDL FAQ .
