DAU/Florida Tech Certificate Program
Expand your knowledge and skills
Earn a Graduate certificate through a new strategic partnership among two established institutions: Defense Acquisition University and Florida Institute of Technology (Florida Tech).
About the Program
Beginning in January 2002, members of the Defense Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (AT & L) workforce with a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited school AND a minimum of Level 1 Certification in at least one DAU career field will be able to work towards a Florida Tech Graduate Certificate. Under an MOA signed by DAU and Florida Tech, courses of study for these students have been approved based on a combination of work related experience and training as demonstrated by the level of DAU certification and the selected graduate certificate from Florida Tech.
Through this partnership with DAU, DAU staff who have earned a Level 1,2 or 3 certification in one of DAU's 11 career fields, may take Florida Tech courses and apply them toward graduate certificate programs. Given the student's career field, level of DAU certification, and choice of Graduate Certificate Program, the student may receive up to six semester hours of general graduate level transfer credits toward the 15 semester hours required for that Graduate Certificate.
